Baycloud Bouncer - Your DNT Enforcer
Bouncer is an extension that implements the Do Not Track (DNT) specification for browsers. The Do Not Track (DNT) protocol is a simple signal that instructs the browser to not store information about your activity across websites. If a website does not send a DNT signal, it may be tracking your activity. This may be done for advertising or analytics purposes.
Bouncer uses DNT signals to tell servers that you do not wish to have your activity tracked. Bouncer is not designed to block third-party advertisements or websites from collecting data. You can set the privacy policy of your website to make it more clear what data it collects and how it uses that data.
To keep your information secure, Bouncer uses an encryption protocol called the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and an authentication protocol called HMAC-SHA256. Bouncer is designed to be compatible with modern browsers that implement the Do Not Track (DNT) protocol.
The Do Not Track (DNT) signal is sent to websites by default, but if you disable or delete the DNT signal, Bouncer will not report it. To disable the DNT signal, use the Tools menu in the Options panel.
